STRUZZI METROPOLITANI di Yu Zhaoyang (Cina)
Quest’opera mi ha colpito e rubato diversi scatti. Si trova nel senese, lungo la bella verde “strada bianca”, dodici chilometri di curve sterrate immerse nel verde,  dal villaggio di Vagliagli a Ponte a Bozzone (presso l’azienda vinicola Casuccio Tarletti che ne è lo sponsor).
L’artista cinese aveva proposto gli “Struzzi Metropolitani” che guardavano nelle finestre dei grattacieli. È stato invece l’italiano Alessandro Pinciani a proporre la sostituzione delle finestre con i cipressi. Le figure, alte più di 5 metri, sono realizzate in acciaio e dipinte con l’aerografo.

This work hit me and stole several shots. It is located in the Senese area, along the beautiful green “white road”, twelve kilometers of curves of dirt road surrounded by greenery, from Vagliagli village to Ponte a Bozzone (at the Casuccio Tarletti winery which is the sponsor).
The Chinese artist had proposed the “Metropolitan Ostriches” who looked into the windows of skyscrapers. Instead, it was the Italian Alessandro Pinciani who proposed replacing the windows with cypresses. The figures, more than 5 meters high, are made of steel and painted with the airbrush.

Seguendo per la stessa via segue anche l’arte, altre opere posizionate qua e là e poi il Parco Sculture del Chianti. Un giardino d’arte contemporanea nato dal sogno della Famiglia Giadrossi, aperto al pubblico dal 2004, con opere pensate e realizzate proprio per essere inserite in quel contesto. Artisti da tutto il mondo hanno proposto il loro capolavoro facendosi ispirare dal giardino stesso, utilizzando a piacimento materiali/luci/suoni/forme/dimensioni, in modo da diventare armoniosa parte integrante del tutto.
Following the same path also follows the art, other works positioned here and there and then the Chianti Sculpture Park. A contemporary art garden born from the dream of the Giadrossi family, open to the public since 2004, with works designed and created precisely to be inserted in that context. Artists from all over the world have proposed their masterpiece being inspired by the garden itself, using the most disparate materials / lights / sounds / shapes / sizes, in order to become a harmonious integral part of the whole.

“Salto della cavallina” di Domenic Benhura (Zimbabwe)
Bimbi che giocano scolpiti nel granito nero d’Africa. E’ considerato uno dei massimi esponenti della scultura Shona. Utilizza svariati materiali e i suoi soggetti rappresentano sopratutto semplici scene quotidiane.
